Complete the task and then name a number of books that you would recommend to the parent.

Discuss with group after lunch why items etc have been included in their rubrics. To be continued next week.

Analyse both sites using a PNI (positive, negative and Interesting). See blog for sites. Include hard copy. Discuss with class mates.

Complete a PNI on the collective sites – that is decide what is Positive, Negative and Interesting. Discuss with class.
2. Activity 1.2 p 10
Complete the exercise and present your answer to the group using a real beginner’s book
3. Assessment tool 3, Project 1 p52 Choose a book aimed at beginning readers
Present to the class. Explain to the group your criteria for selecting this picture book. Complete Qus 7 and 8 before arriving at class. Present your findings for Qus 7 and 8 to the class.
