2. Read the third paragraph page 8 and pair up. Complete the pairing exercise on page 8
3. Activity 2, page 12. Think, pair and share the activity on Fine Motor Skills.
4. Activity 3 p17 Own Writing. Write a story. See blog for stimulus material and to see RO’s efforts. Use graphic communicator to plan paragraphs. Analyse your work using a Y chart. Remember audience, purpose. Read and Discuss with group.
5. Activity 8 Confidentiality Policy p 34. Discuss. See blog and handout.
6. Activity 9 p37 Complete a rubric. Share and discuss with group

1. Activity 10 p 39. Bring book to the group, read a short passage and using Y charts, PNI etc, analyse the book as per the activity.
2. Activity 12. P46. Discuss what can be the objectives of a writing program.
3. Activity 14 p53. Search for online dictionaries. Complete a PNI on the collective sites – that is decide what is Positive, Negative and Interesting. Discuss with class.
4. Activity 15, pages 55 – 57 Grammatical rules. Read one of RO,s stories and a children’s book and find single examples of Grammatical rules and Parts of speech. Use Poetic devices to write a short poem.
